Computer Studies & Technology
The school has a dedicated computer laboratory with 32 up to date IBM personal computers, which are connected to the Department of Education server. Teachers provide weekly classes to students in the "computer lab". This Lab was made possible through the generous support of parents to the School Association.
The school had developed a Computer Education Strategy which aims to provide students with the skills, information and knowledge necessary to use computers in a way that maximises the benefits of technology and achieves the goals and outcomes of the curriculum. As part of the strategy the school aims to ensure that its computer and software is up to date, that specialist teachers are involved in delivering the curriculum and that all teachers are proficient in computer skills. A copy of the strategy is available from the Principal.
