Assemblies
Students attend an outdoor assembly at 9.15am and 11.30am after recess where matters of daily concern are discussed. An assembly is held in the school hall on Thursday from 2:40pm to 3:10pm for K-2 (even week) and 3-6 (odd week).
Assemblies are structured so that students participate as individuals, groups or as a whole class.
K-6 Assemblies are held at least twice a term and are conducted by the senior students.
Parents are welcome to attend all Assemblies.
Awards commending students' attainments in academic, sporting, Band and/or citizenship areas are given at each weekly assembly. Seniors choose and distribute their awards at the K-6 assembly.
A special assembly Years 3-6 is convened for Presentation Day and is usually held in the second last week of Term 4. At this assembly recognition is based on a whole year's effort.
